Sara Brockbank is fully qualified in both Human and Equine Bowen as well as being trained in Reiki to the second degree. She also studied Equine Sports Science at Nottingham Trent University to widen her knowledge of all aspects of the horse, including care, nutrition and injury.
Bowen is a very gentle, yet effective, complimentary therapy. It works over the soft tissue, treating the whole body without reference to a named disease or condition.
This alternative therapy is very useful for remedial work, as well as offering a health maintenance service to fine-tune the body and to allow the horse to work to its full potential. The best cure is prevention, treating minor problems before they become major injuries. Bowen is also useful to promote recovery after surgery, help the horse to overcome emotional issues and assist the body in the release of stiffness or tension.
Bowen works with the body to enhance the natural healing processes and help the body to rebalance itself.
Sara is fully covered with professional liability insurance. She also attends professional development days to further her knowledge and allow her to remain a registered Equine Bowen practitioner.
